Manhattan, Kansas
May 17, 2010
This shot is again out in the Konza Prairie of Manhattan Kansas. If you follow the trail through the park you will come upon a collection of buildings, one being this broken down building. I thought I would try my hand at the High Dynamic Range technique. This involves the combination of multiple pictures in order to compensate for loss of information either through over exposure or under exposure. This information is lost when there is a large contrast in elements, i.e a blarring sun and a forested bulding and the sensor can’t capture the entire range. Well I will be experimenting a lot with this technique throughout this trip so before I leave I will likely upload a few more attempts. I hope you enjoy!
