Highway 5 North, Between LA and San Francisco California

From Laguna Beach I stayed on Highway 1 for a bit heading North. I then realized that the highway moves off of the coast until after San Francisco and so iopted for a much more efficient route. Highway 5 into San Fran and then I would catch Highway 1 again once I moves back to the coast. I caught this photo just a bit off the Highway as the sun was rising over the California mountains. This state is absolutely beautiful!
intersting, so much open space almost looks like home..I guess I did not realize that it was like that.
