Geneva State Park, Ohio

Geneva gets two entries because this state park was absolutely beautiful. Just a bit west of Geneva on the Lake is a state park with all the amenties including a beach on the lake. We went swimming for a bit and as we were leaving the beach area we were discussing possibly coming back for the sunset. An older couple sitting there told us that the sunsets on the lake were some of the best that they had seen, even “better than the Carribean” as they put it. So we decided we would need to come back. I took a few shots, including the one above as the sun began to set but for this day I tried my hand at doing a bit of video. I will try and upload a clip of the sun moving into the ocean soon, and then you can decide for yourself on the quality of the set over the lake! I will say this, the sun seemed to linger on the horizon for a very long time! It was great!
